Marinara Sauce
This is an easy healthy nutrient-rich Marina sauce. This is a thick and luscious sauce that is loaded with antioxidants and minerals. Add it to roasted veggies, pasta, or lasagna recipes.

Ingredients
1 - 28 can organic Muir Glen crushed fire roasted tomatoes
2 tablespoons California olive oil
1 onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, peeled and sliced
1 teaspoons oregano
1 tablespoon honey
Directions
Melt the olive oil in a medium stock pot over medium heat.
Add onions and cook, stirring often, until the onions are translucent, about 10 minutes.
Add garlic and oregano and cook 2 minutes
Add crushed tomatoes
Bring to a simmer and cook at least 60 minutes
Add honey
Transfer the mixture to a blender and puree or use an immersible blender.
Return to simmer
