Sweet Pepper Cooking Tips and Techniques
Pepper seeds are tough though and bitter and so they are usually just discarded.
Thread chopped red, green or yellow peppers on a skewer with chicken sausage, beef or pork and your favorite veggies
Slice peppers into thin strips with cabbage, celery and scallion to for a unique, sweet-and-tart bell pepper slaw
Eat them raw, sautéed roasted, steamed, grilled or blanched
To blanch peppers place in the boiling water and cook, stirring frequently, for 5 to 7 minutes, or until they feel crisp-tender.
